ISKCON Mayapur: These three days were filled with joy, reflections, and realizations. I acknowledge my inability to recall and mention all the wonderful revelations made by Srila Prabhupada’s disciples here. I am attaching the link for the videos of the event with this article.

Subhag Swami expressed gratitude to all his godbrothers for their kind participation in the festival. The program concluded with the Abhishek ceremony and pushpanjali for His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The devotees offered Srila Prabhupada 108 different dishes. All Prabhupada’s disciples were respectfully seated, and they lovingly honored the Lord’s divine prasadam while reminiscing about Prabhupada. Around ten thousand devotees also enjoyed the Lord’s prasadam in a separate pandal.

To help us understand this philosophical seed of the founder-acharya principle, we will now hear how the acharya-sampradaya culture inspired one famous disciple to appeal to his great guru in relation to their worshipable acharya.

If Prabhupada can forgive us, we can also forgive each other’s mistakes and meanderings. Lord Chaitanya welcomes everyone and sees past any bodily designations. I respect any devotee who has tried in even the smallest way to serve Prabhupada, Krishna, or another devotee. He or she is special—like the sparrow who drank drops of the ocean to rescue her lost eggs from the sea, or like the chipmunk who was tossing pebbles into the sea to help Lord Ramachandra build his bridge to Lanka. The effort itself is success.

When Prabhupada came to us in his seventieth year, he had already spent a lifetime preparing himself, not only by preaching, but by practicing self-discipline and the many other qualities of an advanced spiritualist. We
joined him handicapped by our so-called hippie freedom and by so many other weaknesses in our characters.

Swamiji asked us how we were doing and seeing the red marks on my face, I explained to him that some bugs were biting me. He laughed and said, pointing to his window, yes they also come here but I stay very still and when they think I am asleep, they come.
